Staff Speech-Language Pathologist

Position Type: Part-time.

Job Description: Evaluates patients with communication disorders, plans and implements appropriate therapeutic programs, and establishes appropriate goals. Provides care to patients with acute conditions, short-term illnesses, long-term disabilities, or terminal illness following a physician referral.

Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Experience: Home health experience preferred.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. Must have current driver's license and auto insurance.

Work Hours: 24 hours per week between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Dress Code: Present a clean, neat, professional appearance that facilitates the effective, safe treatment of patients. Business casual is acceptable.

Service Area: All counties in VNA's coverage area.
