Staff Occupational Therapist

Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Casual.

Job Description: Evaulates patients with physical disabilities, plans and implements appropriate therapeutic and functional programs, and establishes appropriate goals. Provides care to patients with acute conditions, short-term illnesses, long-term disabilities, or terminal illness following a physican referral.

Education: Must be graduated from an Occupational Therapy cirriculum accredited by the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association. Must hold National Registry. Based on geographic assignement, must be licensed in Illinois and/or Kentucky and/or certified in Indiana per legal requirements.

Experience: One (1) year experience preferred. Geriatric or home health experience desired.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. Must have current driver's license and auto insurance.

Primary Work Hours: Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dress Code: Present a clean, neat, professional appearance which facilitates the effective, safe treatment of patients. Scrubs are acceptable.

Service Area: All counties in the VNA coverage area.
