Staff Physical Therapist
Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Casual.
Job Description: Evaluates the patients in their home settings, plans and implements appropriate therapeutic programs, and establishes appropriate goals to rehabilitate patients following a physician referral. Is responsible for the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistant and HCA in the management of the patient's plan of care.
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Must be licensed.
Experience: Two (2) years experience preferred. Geriatric or home health experience desired.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. Must have current driver's license and auto insurance.
Work Hours: Usually Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dress Code: Present a clean, neat, professional appearance that facilitates the effective, safe treatment of patients. Scrubs are acceptable.
Service Area: All counties in VNA's coverage area.
