Bereavement support is a service that is extended to family members and their loved ones who must go on with their lives after a hospice patient dies. The goal of the hospice bereavement program is to provide the information and support needed to help survivors adjust to their loss and learn new skills for living. Bereavement support is available for 12 months following a death.
